Hi, I’m Amanda Heider

Quick Notes

  • I’m married to my high school sweetheart
  • We were both Pentecostals and met at church. We converted to Catholicism in 2014
  • We are an Army family of 10. We have 7 kids on earth and 1 little saint who we lost to miscarraige
  • I graduated from college in 2022 on Mother’s Day at 40 years old surrounded by my husband and 7 children.
  • Hiring a life coach was the best financial investment I have ever, or will ever make. My life is divided into ‘before coaching’ and ‘after coaching.’
  • God put me on this earth to be a coach. It’s how I show up in my life. Whether I’m at the grocery store, the playground, or sitting with you in a Zoom call, I know that this is my purpose. I’m meant to be a coach. I’m called to live a life of curiosity and growth so that I can help set the world on fire. I’m here to set YOU on fire so you can turn around and spread the fire through your own gifts. Let’s light this world up with the fire of God’s love.

Step out of the shadows

So much of my life was spent in the shadows. I couldn’t even recognize myself. I turned more and more inward, even thought my outer self seemed ‘okay.’ I was always ‘okay’ no matter how much I was suffering inside. The constant moves, demanding hours of my husband’s job, and countless days apart wore away at me until I felt like there was little left of me.

Do you feel like that sometimes? If I asked you what you love to do in your free time what would you say? Would you have an answer?

When I started working with my life coach, she became the hand of Jesus reaching into the shadows and pulling me into the light. It was HARD work. It was like working with a personal trainer for my mind and heart. I was exhausted after every session and wondered why I was paying for this.

Then my life started to change.

I transformed.

My husband was so shocked that he hired his OWN coach.

Suddenly the world looked different to me. The more I worked through my own issues the more present I was for myself and others. As I saw myself through a lens of love, I could see everyone around me through that same lens. Relationships became more clear. I could distinguish between the relationships that healed and the ones that hurt. I stopped focusing as much on what other people thought of me. I felt like I was coming back to life.

I finally understood that the verse “love your neighbor as you love yourself” is a commandment to begin with loving ourselves. Most of my life I wrongly believed that loving myself was self-indulgent and sinful. The opposite is true. I learned how to love Amanda, a woman created by God with a distinct purpose and mission. I learned how to love my life. The more I did that, the more capacity I had to love others.

My social anxiety became almost non-existent. I showed up in my relationships with more curiosity and grace.

I’m not perfect. It’s my life’s work to love better today than I did yesterday. I have a long way to go. However, now I have the tools. Working with a coach was the key to unlocking the joy in my life. It was there all along and my coach helped me find it.

I’m here to do the same for you. I believe in your ability to live the life you were meant to live. As your coach, I want to help you approach your life from a state of curiosity and grace, so that when you come to the end of your days you can look back and say “I lived a full life of love.”
